Ladies and gentlemen, I present you with the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. *heavy breathing*
I can truly and honestly say that this palette is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I’m aware that I sound crazy, but hey – some people like football, I like makeup. I picked up the Dolce Vita palette after many long months of coveting it, and boy was it worth the wait (and the price).
The four shades are buttery, creamy and pigmented. They’re blendable, easy to apply and easy to build up. CT, you hit the jackpot with this one. Thanks to the colour-coding on the back, even someone who doesn’t know what a MAC 217 brush is could create a gorgeous eye makeup look. (It’s a blending brush, btw).
The smoky, gorgeous result of this palette is both a good and bad thing. It’s good because it makes the most stunning eye makeup look I’ve ever seen. It’s bad because no other palette in the world could ever match up to this one.
If you’ve been thinking about investing in a Charlotte Tilbury makeup product, I couldn’t recommend this palette enough. I call it an investment because at €50 it isn’t cheap, but you’ll definitely get your cost-per-wear out of it. Although, don’t blame me if you find yourself in there on a regular basis drooling over the lipsticks and other products. You’ve been warned.
