Accidental Beauty Haul

I hope I’m not the only one when I say that all of my products run out at the exact same time, all the time. This isn’t such a bad thing though, as it’s a nice excuse to go into Boots and do a bit of guilt-free shopping. But we all know what a trip to Boots means, right?

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Touchably Full Shampoo, Conditioner and Blow Dry Lotion – I got these three babies in Boots for a total bargain – €13 for all three! I’ve heard such great things about the Luxurious Range and can’t wait to try it out on my fine, flat hair. I’ll keep you updated on their results 😉

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow – A 3for2 on Revlon products could only lead to a 6for4 deal in my eyes, thanks to the release of the new Colourburst Matte and Laquer Balms. Lily Pebbles mentioned this product on her blog a while ago and compared it to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. Anything that’s comparable to Bobbi Brown for half the price needs to be bought, right? So far I really like the pigmentation of this palette and the beautiful range of colours, I’ll have a full review up as soon as I’ve tried it a bit more.

Lush Grease Lightning – Thanks to the breakout of the century that erupted on my face a few weeks ago, I’ve been on the hunt for the miracle product that will clear it up. I’ve mentioned my love of tea tree oil for fighting blemishes before, so hopefully the power-duo of tea tree  and witch hazel in this product will work even better.

Super Facialist by Una Brennan – As part of my mission for clear skin, I began the hunt for a clarifying mask. This one from Una Brennan was less than €12 and says it’s ‘a detoxifying mask to unclog pores and restore skin balance’ – which sounds fantastic to me! I’ve just tried this once so far but I’m really loving the clay effect of the mask.

Savlon Antiseptic Cream – This product is my hero when it comes to blemish fighting. It prevents infection and really helps to clear my skin. I’ve been purchasing Savlon for years, and I’m not going to stop anytime soon!

Lush Bath Ballistic Sex Bomb – Just the smell of this product on the table beside me makes me relax. Lush are amazing for their bath bombs, I can’t wait to try this one out at the end of a long week while reading Glamour magazine.

Revlon Lip Products – I did a full post on these during the week, which you can read here.

Lush Tea Tree Toner Tab – The recurring theme in this post is my hunt for clear skin, and this Toner Tab from Lush is all part of the journey. I love steaming my face regularly to clear my pores, but have never tried a Toner Tab before. As soon as I saw that it had tea tree in the ingredients, I was sold!

A short and sweet post today, things are getting busier as the weeks go on! I hope everyone is having a good week, Friday is near!

    Sometimes a girl’s gotta shop, right? 🙂
You’ve picked up some nice products! I’m not massively in love with Lush’s bath bombs, but now I want to read a glossy mag in the hot tub, too…

Exactly, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do! Thank you! I’d definitely give them a try again, a nice candle and a good read always makes the experience 100 times better! x

Great haul! I love a good bit of lush, it’s too hard to resist isn’t it? I just bought a load of stuff in the sale and now I’m left thinking ‘when am I actually going to use all this’?
