No matter what any beauty guru says, some days call for the bare minimum when it comes to makeup. Some days I don’t have the time to do the full works, and others, well, I just couldn’t be bothered. Not wearing any makeup is one of the best feelings in the world, in my opinion, purely because I know that I don’t have to remove it at night and can hop straight into bed.
But because I haven’t been blessed with the clearest skin, going fully bare faced out in public isn’t always an option. I’ve turned to using NARS Radiant Creamy Moisturiser under my eyes and on blemishes lately, just on its own, and I totally love it. It does the job without the need to pally a primer, foundation and powder.
In order to look more awake and to add something to my eyes, I add a few layers of Maybelline The Falsies mascara to my lashes. It’s really easy to apply and really easy to remove, and it doesn’t look too dramatic on an otherwise barely-there face.
This routine has become a firm favourite in the last few busy weeks, I can see myself carrying it through to summer for warmer days when less makeup is needed!
I wrote this post on the bus on the way home from work btw, technology these days eh?!
