Rediscovered | Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation

Image

A few days ago I was looking for a light, good coverage foundation that was suitable for daytime, and after crossing off MAC Studio Fix and NARS Sheer Glow, I realised that Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation was exactly what I was looking for.

As the name suggests, it’s a creamy formula with a silk finish. It gives just the right amount of dewiness yet isn’t shiny at all. The coverage is medium to high, and is really buildable. I apply one layer all over my face and then put a little extra on the areas I need it most. It’s the perfect foundation for day and night, which is great as it has long-lasting power. A little goes a long way, which I love as this product is relatively expensive.

I can see myself using this all through the summer, I’m so glad that I rediscovered it!

Hey darling! Do you think this foundation would be ok for people who suffer from a oily T-Zone? xxx

Hey gal! I think it would be okay. It isn’t matte, yet it isn’t very shiny or dewy. I think once you apply a good powder it would last and apply well! xx

(Sigh) LM Silk Creme is the shiz. I wish it had a larger shade range…
