When my driving instructor arrived at my door 20 minutes early yesterday (20 minutes is a lot of time for someone who always gets ready last minute), I had approximately 3 minutes to make my face look like I was wide awake, although it was the last thing I felt.
There was no time for blending, contouring or filling in my brows, I had to do with the bare essentials. I used NARS Tinted Moisturiser to add hydration and colour to my skin, and concealed my dark circles and blemishes with Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I ran a very grubby clear gel through my brows so they looked a bit more full, and a sweep of L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes mascara to my lashes. A dab of Vaseline on my lips and I was ready to go.
Who knew getting ready could be so easy? It was a huge step away from my usual leisurely 30 minute routine for sure. I can see myself using this a lot next week when I go back to college for my 9am starts – sleep is the only thing that I’ll sacrifice makeup for.
