There’s nothing more I love than a good lipstick, so when these Makeup Revolution Lip Lavas landed on my doorstep I was so excited to try them out.
They are a liquid lipstick hybrid, that’s glossy but not too shiny. The colour is super opaque, just one layer and you’re good to go. They’re non-drying and don’t cling to dry patches thanks to the Vitamin E in them – which I love! As for staying power, I ploughed my way through a main course in a restaurant and the colour was still there. They don’t leave a stain, but if you applied a layer, then blotted, and applied another layer, I think they would have even longer staying power.
The squeezy tube and sponge applicator makes the lipstick easy to apply, you could even get away without using a mirror. All of the shades are really vibrant and gorgeous, the perfect way to make a statement.
From the top, the shades are: Tremor, Unleash, Shockwave, Firestorm and Forgiven. My favourite is Tremor (surprise, surprise!), a lovely pink-nude. At £2.99 each (around €4), they’re definitely worth trying out.
