They See Me Haulin’

If anyone sees me in Space NK/ Brown Thomas/ Boots in the next few weeks, please politely pull me outside – I’m on a serious spending ban after this collective beauty haul! Sometimes a girl’s just gotta shop, and last Friday was one of those times. I’d put off going into Space NK/ Brown Thomas for way too long, so I had some catching up to do. If you look back on my previous Payday Wishin’ posts and Christmas Gift Guides, you’ll see that nearly all of these products have been featured on them. It was time I bit the bullet and went in and bought them, am I right?

After hearing amazing things about the  Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel on Vivianna Does Makeup’s blog and YouTube channel, it had been on my lust list for quite a while. I thought it was in a higher price bracket than it actually was, at €36 it’s by no means cheap, but it’s a nice splurge. And a good cleanser means good skin, and good skin means makeup looks better – so really it was a bargain when you think about it 😉

Another VDM-enabled purchase, I picked up the Sarah Chapman Skinesis Overnight Facial. I don’t use/have a night moisturiser/oil, so I thought this would be a good one to begin with. I’ve only used it a handful of times, but so far so good.

I ran out of my Kiehl’s Ultra-Blur Micro Skin Perfector a few weeks ago, and it’s been truly missed in my routine. Although I loved it, I like trying out new products so I picked up the Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer. I don’t always use moisturiser in the morning (I know, I know!), so I thought this would be great as it’s almost like a 2-in-1 product. My skin has reaped the benefits so far and it’s a welcome addition to my daily routine.

The star of this haul is *drum roll please* – The Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. I’ve wanted this for a ridiculous amount of time, and looked like a loon smiling when I was at the till buying it, but boy it was worth it. It’s standing proud on my dresser, and I look at it with the fondness I’d imagine to have for a child. Me, crazy? Never.

Years of using MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle has meant its initial novelty has worn off on me. It’s just a bit too chunky for me, and I couldn’t stay loyal when I heard The Balm Mary Lou Manizer was on offer on feelunique.com. Just one use has me wondering why I waited so long to pick it up.

I wrote all about the Anastasia DipBrow Pomade and #12 brush that I picked up on beautybay.com in yesterday’s post, so I won’t go into detail, but put simply, I love it for HD brows and nights out.

We all know the pain of having to tie up freshly straightened/curled hair and the bobbin leaving a huge dent in your hair. Well, those days are no more with the Invisibobble. I got three in a pack for around €4 on feelunique.com, and they leave no mark in the hair or damage it.

Maybelline is my favourite brand for mascara, so picking up the new Lash Sensational was inevitable. I love the plastic brush and how it grips, pulls and lengthens the lashes. It’s on special offer in Boots at the minute, so pick it up before it goes back to full price!

Cetaphil Cleanser is a repurchase, it’s my go-to simple, effective cleanser. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all and gets the job done quickly.

I may or may not have picked up three of the new Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes and L’Oreal Super Liner less than four hours after taking these photos – I have a problem, okay?!

Expect plenty of reviews and features in the next few weeks, I can’t wait to try all of these out and share my thoughts with you all!

Will anyone else be living on beans and toast for the rest of the month?! Let me know what you bought in the comments below if you are!
