Recap the Week | Currently Loving

Happy Easter Monday everyone! I hope you’re all dosed up on chocolate and are currently wondering what to do with the five left over Easter eggs left in the kitchen, ’cause that’s what I’m doing. Rice Krispy cakes, anyone?

This week I got back into the swing of things in the gym and did a few spin and body balance classes (it was in preparation for all the chocolate I knew I’d eat at the weekend). I used to hate spin classes, but now I love them! I always leave in a good mood, and I like how they’re short and high-intensity. The less time I’ve to spend on the uncomfortable seats, the better. Body balance is a mixture of yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi, and is really relaxing but intense at the same time. As much as I enjoyed doing the Bikini Body Guide, classes suit me better at the minute because they really push you to work hard.

Along with getting back to the gym, I’ve tried out a few new healthy recipes at home. Melanie Murphy’s satay sauce recipe has been my go-to dinner the last few weeks, I make it every chance I get! Most of the ingredients are things that you’d have in your press, and it’s super easy to make. Give it a try this week!

I found Marissa Lace’s channel on YouTube a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed. I’ve made my way through nearly all of her main channel videos and vlogs. It’s not like I’ve assignments to be doing… She’s so funny and gorgeous, and I was so inspired by her Draw My Life video. Grab a cuppa and flick through her channel, you’ll love it.

I also picked up a load of new skincare to try out because my current routine just hasn’t been cutting it lately. I’ll have a full morning and evening on-trial routine up this week, so stay tuned.

How was your week? Let me know how your Easter was and what your favourite egg is!
