Forget the LBD, this season it’s all about the LRD – the little red dress. I saw this beauty on Missguided (of course) and while it’s totally different to what I usually wear, I fell in love with it.
I wore this dress last Friday night to my friend’s 21st – any excuse to buy a new dress! The fit is really nice, and the satin material looks and feels so luxurious. Although, it was really creased when it came so I put a towel over it and ironed it out. The sides of the top of the dress were a bit big, so I taped them down with double sided tape (with the help of my two gals) so they wouldn’t stick out. I paired the dress with my new favourite heels from Office, and grabbed a leather jacket when I was running out the door.
I kept my hair and makeup simple, and just wore a few rings and Alex and Ani bracelets to add a little something extra. I love Broadway nails, and wore the “real short” version. They’re super easy to apply and lasted for around three days.
