Las Vegas Style Ideas

As part of the #MyCosmoStyle blog challenge, I’d like to share with you what I’d wear if I went to Las Vegas and stayed in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. I’ve always wanted to go to Las Vegas, it seems to be such a glamorous place where you can always dress to make a statement.

If only I owned all of the clothes and accessories featured below, but a girl can dream right? I had so much fun creating these looks and thinking about what I’d wear. Let me know in the comment what you’d wear to turn heads in Las Vegas!

Brunch at Wicked Spoon – Ask me what I’d wear to lunch in any other place and my response would usually be whatever I can find that is comfiest. However, in Las Vegas it would be a different story. This Topshop poppy skirt is dressy without being over the top, and the bright colours in it keep it pretty for daytime. I’d pair it with this cami top from River Island and these gorgeous nude Chloe wedges. I’d layer up some Alex and Ani bracelets to accessorise, as well as a classic nude satchel from Marc Jacobs.

Dinner at Jaleo – If I was going for dinner in Las Vegas I would pull out all of the stops and get really dressed up. There’s no better time, right? I’d wear this stunning dress from Herve Leger. It is such a classic dress, and the black colour means you can really brighten it up with accessories. I think blue and gold go really well together, so I’d wear these statement Louboutin caged shoes with a gold YSL clutch and Tory Burch bangle. While a big necklace would look amazing with the strapless dress, I thought a pair of dangly earrings would look cute with the outfit.

Night out at Marquee – The blue and gold theme here is totally unintentional, I swear! For a night out in Vegas, I’d make a statement with bold colours and accessories. This cobalt blue dress from Ted Baker is perfect for turning heads. I fell in love with these Louboutins as soon as I saw them. They’re gold, metallic and have mesh detailing – what more could you want?! The red clutch from YSL ties in with the red sole of the Louboutins, and is big enough to fit your purse, phone and lipgloss in. I’d keep my jewellery simple with just one gold layered ring and a laser-cut cuff bangle.

After writing this post, my usual uniform of Topshop Leigh jeans and Converse seems pretty drab. A pair of Louboutins (and a trip to Vegas) is definitely on my lust-list now!
