A few weeks ago I attended the launch of Ireland’s newest drugstore brand, Flormar. As far as launches go, this one got me very excited.

Everything from the brand is under €13, which is incredible, and even better, the products are amazing! Myself and my lovely friend Cathy from MentallyBeautiful swatched everything we could see and we were so impressed with every single product.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been trying out some goodies that we got at the launch and already they’ve taken a firm place in my makeup stash!

My favourite product that I tried is the Bronzing Powder (€9.95). This bronzer is huge – it’s way bigger than the palm of my hand and comes with a massive mirror inside, which is so handy for throwing into your handbag. The shade Gorgeous Bronze is a lovely matte brown that isn’t at all orange or red, so it’s perfect for bronzing and contouring. I brought this on holidays with me and it gave such a nice warm colour to my skin.

The Illuminating Primer (€9.95) is infused with green tea and acai, which have amazing benefits for the skin. It doesn’t have the horrible silicone, thick, sticky feel and gives skin a smooth base for makeup. It sinks in straight away and while it’s illuminating, it doesn’t make the skin shiny or oily looking. It simply brightens the skin and makes it the perfect canvas for makeup.

The Eyeshadow Palette (€9.95) in Nude Dudes has the exact same, if not better, pigmentation than MAC eyeshadows. The five matte shades are absolutely gorgeous and there are so many different looks that you can create with the palette. It’s my new favourite everyday eyeshadow palette – I’m dying to pick up a few more!

Not a colour I’d usually go for, the Revolution Lipstick (€6.95) in Provocative Orange, is definitely a way to make a statement! It’s hydrating, smooth and long-lasting. To make it last as long as possible, apply a layer, blot your lips and apply another layer – it’ll last all night!

Another out-there colour for me, the Long Wearing Lip Gloss (€5.95) in Backstage, is not for the faint hearted. It’s super pigmented for a lipgloss and sidenote: smells amazing. The vibrant, shimmery purple is fun and loud, but can be sheered out if you don’t want it to be too bright.

One of my favourite nail varnish colours is turquoise, and this Jelly Look Nail Enamel in Turquoise Green ticks all the boxes. The thick brush means you only need three strokes to cover your nail, and just one application gives great colour payoff. It’s super shiny and lasted three days on me (with no under coat or top coat) without chipping.

At the launch I spied a BB cream, CC cream and a gorgeous highlight that I’m dying to get my hands on too! Flormar is currently launching in pharmacies around Ireland, so keep an eye out and run to a counter if you see one – I know I will!

I haven’t heard of that brand before but the bronzer looks amazing and so does the lipstick – I love the packaging of it! x

it’s genuinely one of the best, if not the best, drugstore brand I’ve ever tried! If you see it in any pharmacies I’d 110% recommend trying some products out! xx
